The Team You’ll Want To Run Your Links Golf Cafe

Our goal is that your Team runs the day to day of your Links Golf Cafe. We suggest you hire a General Manger to run things. They hire three key assistant managers, and the rest of the Team.

Here is a quick look at the roles and compensation model.

General Manager

This is likely an Assistant Manager in quick service food or fitness ready to make the next step up. They love what they do, but want to be challenged. They love systems, but love making them better. They want their Team to be the stars, and that’s how they love to shine. They’ll run the Links Golf Cafe for you, and you’ll meet with them each week to stay in the loop. Oh yeah, they love tracking and measuring everything. πŸ™‚

We suggest you plan on a base of $5,000 a month, with profit sharing incentives.

Assistant General Manager

This role is just like the GM, but a few years earlier in their career. Likely they’ve been a Crew Coordinator or Junior Manager of some kind, in retail, quick service food or fitness. They love to hustle, get along well with others, and are looking for a career (can you say GM in your second location?!!).

We suggest you plan on a base of $2,500 – $3,000 a month, with performance bonuses.

Director of Business Development

Same as the AGM, in all aspects, except this role is all about selling Memberships, running contests and driving engagement from the Members. Ideally they’ll have experience in doing this or be very willing to learn.

We suggest you plan on a base of $2,500 – $3,000 a month, with performance bonuses.

Director of Food & Beverage

Same as the AGM or Director of Business Development, in all aspects, except this role is all about preparing and serving great food and drinks. Fast. They will have direct experience in doing this.

We suggest you plan on a base of $2,500 – $3,000 a month, with performance bonuses.

Team Members

Imagine a team of enthusiastic, energetic, customer-focused people. With a typical Links Golf Cafe being open all the hours the Regional Shopping Center is, you’ll have some 80 plus hours a week, with two to six Team Members on shift at any time. That means 10 – 20 Team Members.

And since we want a Wow Experience all the time, we’re budgeting $17 – $20 per hour starting wages. Imagine recruiting the best 20% of retail, quick service and fitness staff in the area. πŸ™‚
